Charm's Creations Challenge combined with SFS Challenge.

Well here I am hopping on to show you my creation I came up with this month. This time Charm's Creation combined the colour challenge over at SFS { Scrapbooking From Scratch }. Here is the colours:

It's July????? Already????

So this month, I have decided to combine my challenge over at Scrapbooking from Scratch with the Charms Challenge to hopefully make it simpler....

I'm on Colour Challenge this month and my Colour Combo is:

teal/green/brown/
white and/or cream...

and for extra inspiration....

                                                                                                               

This is what I have come up with:

 

Of course because I wanted to take a photo of this LO it was so overcast. I adjusted it on the computer and it has come up better. I had trouble finding teal this was the only piece I had so I realised these aren't my colours. I love the finished product though.

White With 1

I haven't done a WW1 challenge for a while now, so thought this month was it. The requirements for this month were:

JULY'S CHALLENGE...

WHITE + POLKA DOTS + TAPE

* Any polka dot papers can be used there is no specific colour theme as we are using Polka Dots, you could also use masking, misting or paint to create your polka dots, Tapes, this can be Washi tape, fabric tapes, masking tapes, Tim Holtz tapes the list goes on...

This is what I have created for this month:

After I completed it I was wondering if I had enough white, anyway I'm happy with the end result. This photo was taken at my daughters 21st and the theme was flowers.
I usually create a double LO and like to put it up here for family and friends to see, so here it is:

A2Z Scraplets Challenge.

Well I have been busy once again. I had great fun doing the blog hop and getting some inspiration from them all. So I have completed their challenge as I missed out last month. Here is the sketch for this month:

What a lovely sketch. This is what I came up with:

It is hard to make some photo's look good but you still want to scrap them so you have your memories. Well this was one of them. It was a catch up with family for a belated Christmas lunch. I like the weathered paper in the background as mum and dad live in the country, it also went well with flowers etc. 

I usually make a double LO and I like to put it up for friends and family to see, so here it is:

Purple Pumpkin Challenge!

I have been busy again with being at a craft retreat for the night and have come up with a challenge entry over at PP. I can't wait for their big birthday sale on Friday to check out the great goodies and happy birthday you guys. Here is the sketch for this month:

It was put up in shades of pink but I changed it to print it and haven't changed it back. Here is what I have come up with:

I do find black doesn't turn out that well when I photograph it. I have tweaked the colour slightly but is sharper in real life. Anyway as you can see this is my daughters 21st and the theme was flowers. I embossed the white piece and shaded it { lovely}. I don't have an embosser so it was great to have a play with someone else's. That's what retreats are all about.

Sketches with a Twist.

I haven't done a challenge over at SWAT for a little while and I so wanted to attempt last months but just ran out of time. Anyway here is this months sketch:

I have flipped the sketch to suit my photo's. I have used a sheet of stickers which I haven't used these types of sheets before. These photo's were taken at my daughter's 21st and the theme was flowers.  I am happy with the end result. Here is a close up of my doodling which I haven't really done before:

Scrapbook Kits With A Difference.

Well I have found another new challenge blog over at scrapbook kits with a difference I have been finding new blogs on Facebook and doing blog hops. I have done their colour challenge, which is:
 
July Inspiration Challenge...

This month, I have something a little different for you. I decided to mix it up with a totally cute picture and amazing colour combination - red, blue and grey. 

Don't forget, you can add neutrals such as white, black and kraft.

 

 

I usually wouldn't have thought to put these colours together. Red + blue or Red + grey but not the three anyway here it is:

I love this grey paper and thought it didn't need a lot of fussy work on it. I usually do a double LO, pop it up for my friends to see, and here it is:

I have also completed the sketch challenge, here is the sketch:

I have flipped the sketch to suit my photo's and it was great to work on some warm looking photo's with us having such COLD days. Here is my LO:

Show Us Your Stuff.

Hi everyone I have just completed a challenge over at Show us your stuff  This is a new challenge blog for me and I have had heaps of fun coming up with this LO. Here are the requirements:

JULY CHALLENGE IS:

Take your inspiration from this fabulous paper typewriter!!  Jennifer Collier is an amazing paper artist!

The typewriter is so cute. I didn't know what I was going to do until I came across this paper, which wasn't my favourite paper and I didn't know what I would do with it, but now I love my LO. Here is what I created:

This paper reminds me of the keys on the typewriter, I also popped in some paper that I pulled from and old book which reminded me of the newspaper typewriter.

This photo was taken at my daughter's 21st.

 I usually do a double page LO and put it up so my friends can see it and here it is:

The colour isn't as good on this photo, but I had trouble picking which page to post as my LO. I am happy with one of my daughter with my best friend.

Friday Night Challenge!

I have almost forgotten to post this weeks FNC in. This is this weeks requirement over at Scraphappykat
Tonights Challenge is an Inspirational Challenge
You are to take your Inspiration from this photo

 you can use the colours, the party theme or the floral on the dress etc as your inspiration

I have created a fairly simple LO, using lovely prima flowers, stamping pink dots and using a party theme. Here is my LO:

 

 

 As usual I have come up with a double LO and here it is:

 

 

With alot of photo's on the page a simple design was required. The pages photographed a bit on an angle. 

Anyway that is it for today and I best get them uploaded before I run out of time.
